The Daniel Roth Brand of luxury Swiss watches manufactures its unique timepieces in Le Sentier, Switzerland. This is an exclusive luxury watch brand with a proud heritage of producing an impressive collection of exquisitely crafted limited edition models.
Founded by Daniel Roth, a trained watchmaker and master craftsman whose name was already familiar within the circle of discerning connoisseurs and sophisticated watch collectors, the brand first launched a timepiece, the Tourbillon Double Face, in 1989. Perhaps the most striking feature was the captivating hand-decorated movement with both dials visible through two sapphire crystals. The model was an outstanding piece of jewellery and its remarkable, unique case shape, the "double-ellipse" became synonymous with the brand. In keeping with the philosophy of the brand, the uncompromising quality of materials and passion for detail through the use of hand decorated movements and dials, the Tourbillon Double Face was limited to 250 pieces.

The following year, a celebration 10th anniversary piece the Papillon was unveiled. The Papillon was true to the brand's heritage a limited edition watch and featured the now iconic distinctive case shape.
